Several members of our Class of 2013 will showcase their art on Thursday, May 23 as part of our annual Senior Art Show. Stop by Fairbanks Hall from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for light refreshments and an impressive showcase of student artwork.

Senior Jimmy Wang Named U.S. Presidential Scholar

University High School senior Jimmy Wang has been named a 2013 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Jimmy is the only U.S Presidential Scholar from Central Indiana this year and is one of just two recipients from the state. On Monday, May 13, U.S. Rep. Susan Brooks visited University High School to recognize Wang for his academic success.

Graduation Set for Saturday, June 1

Commencement ceremonies for the University High School Class of 2013 will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 1 p.m. at the Palladium in Carmel. All are welcome to attend. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and there will be complimentary valet parking available for all guests (gratuities not included).

University Seeks Host Families for International Students

University High School is seeking qualified host families who live within 30 minutes of the school to provide a safe and nurturing home environment for international students next year. This would be a 10-month commitment, and families would receive a stipend of $800 per month. Learn more.

Academic Team Qualifies for Nationals

For the first time in school history, the University High School Academic Team has been invited to compete in the 31st annual National Academic Championship in Chicago from June 8-10, 2013. Seniors Alex Carson and William Feng, along with junior Benjamin Vesper and sophomores Kevin Bonar and Monica Chavan, will represent the Trailblazers in the national tournament.
