Ann Andrews – Ann, who has two sons, is an officer of The Skilling and Andrews Foundation, which, because of a long-standing family interest in education, is devoted primarily to the support of schools. She has been active as both a volunteer and a board member of several community organizations, and before that taught psychology at the University of Michigan, where her late husband was a professor.

Kate Appel – Kate is an active volunteer with the arts and education in Indianapolis. Kate believes that the health and success of our arts organizations and schools is not possible without a strong volunteer base. Kate's background is in the theatre arts, and she taught theatre at Park-Tudor School, directed shows, designed costumes and constructed sets. She currently serves on the board of the Indianapolis Civic Theatre, where she has served for nine years and is head of the education committee. She also served on the board of the Indianapolis Opera and is involved with the Eiteljorg Museum. She was actively involved at the Orchard School, where she worked on Orchard in Bloom, the major fund-raising event for the school, for 10 years and chaired it for two years. She also chaired the youth gardening symposium for five years. Kate is married to Dan Appel, chief executive officer of Gregory and Appel Insurance (120-year-old family business). Kate and Dan have three children; their daughter, Leslie, graduated from University High School in 2005.

Mike Clayman, M.D. – Mike is vice president of Lily Research Laboratories for Eli Lilly and Co. Mike and his wife, Patti, are parents of four boys: Joshua, Ben, Sam and Max.

Karen Gentleman – Karen is president of Gentleman Associates, a market-research company that she founded in 1988. She chairs the board of Women's Fund of Central Indiana and serves on the boards of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Central Indiana Inc. She and her husband Michael McCarty have three children: Brooks, Ryan and Julia. Julia graduated from University High School in 2005.

Sue Anne Gilroy - Sue Anne is Vice President of Development of St. Vincent Hospital and Executive Director of the St. Vincent Foundation in Indianapolis. From 2003-2005, Sue Anne served as Director of Advancement at University High School, and was responsible for building community relationships, developing financial resources, providing strategic planning leadership and serving as a student mentor and educator. Mrs. Gilroy served as the first woman secretary of state in Indiana from 1994 to 2002. As director of Indianapolis Parks and Recreation, she was the first female UNIGOV director. She later served as assistant to the president of Indiana Central University (now, University of Indianapolis), was a small business owner, and worked as business administrator for Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. Before her election as Indiana Secretary of State, she served as Senator Richard Lugar’s Indiana State Director. Currently, she is active in the Indianapolis community as secretary of the University of Indianapolis Board of Trustees; honorary governor of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series; member of the Indiana Dollars for Scholars board; and advisory board member of Brooke’s Place. Her honors include a Sagamore of the Wabash from Governor Frank O'Bannon, Hero of the Taxpayer Award, IBJ Influential Woman, Guardian of Small Business Award and “Heart to Heart” award.

Phil Himelstein – Phil left an 18-year career as business lawyer in a large Los Angeles-based law firm in 1992 to be the chairman of Menu Magic Foods, an Indianapolis manufacturer of nutritional food products for the health-care industry. Phil, along with Sandy Lange, formed Hilan Capital in 1998 after completing the sale of their businesses. Phil currently manages a number of real estate/technology/investment entities and is chairman of the Board of Directors of Everest Biomedical, a medical-device company based in St. Louis. Phil and his wife, Lynne, have two children: Allyson and Michael. Michael is a member of the class of 2006 at University High School.

Cathy Hurst – Cathy’s background in start-up ventures covers both not-for-profit and for-profit sectors. Cathy is a founder and vice president of Millennium Foods LLC and a partner of Digital Kiosk Technologies, both in Indianapolis. Some of her previous charitable activities include: president of the Indianapolis Children’s Museum Guild and Haunted House chair; trustee chair of the board and member of Board of Governors of Orchard School; and the co-founder of Orchard In Bloom Garden Show (a regional annual event) held in Holliday Park. She is married and has five young-adult children.

Sandy Lange – Sandy is a partner in Hilan Capital, a private equity-investment partnership founded in 1998. Before Hilan, Sandy was chief executive officer of Pictorial Inc., a leading developer of training programs and compliance software for the financial-services industry. Sandy serves on corporate and community boards and is currently on the board of Sycamore School. He is a trustee of the ADL Charitable Trust.

Charles E. Lanham – Charles is chairman of the Overhead Door Co. of Indianapolis Inc. He serves as the chairman of Athena Development Inc. and Klipsch Lanham Investments and is a director for Steak n' Shake. He has two grown children, Kyle and Lisa and four grandchildren. A graduate of Indiana University, Charles devotes much of his time to community service endeavors. He is the treasurer of the Alpha Tau Omega Foundation, the chair of the Delta Alpha Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana University Foundation. Charles has been honored with the Scottish Rite 33rd degree and the Sagamore of the Wabash.

Jeff Lewis – Jeff is an attorney with Ice Miller, concentrating in tax-exempt finance and securities law. Jeff is an active member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and serves as an advisor to the Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities as a member of its Capital Improvements Team. Jeff is president of the Board of Directors of Indianapolis Opera. Jeff and his wife, Paula, have two children: David and Kristin.

Sandy Morris – Sandy is secretary for the University High School Board. Sandy served as committee chairman in a number of organizations, including Center Grove High School Marching Band Boosters and Center Grove Soccer Club, as well as secretary for the Board of Trustees at her church for a number of years. Before joining Hilan Capital, she worked in accounting at Menu Magic Foods for six years. Sandy and her husband, Rick, have two children.
