UHS Sponsored Spring Break Trips 2011

SPRING BREAK 2011 IN ENGLAND!

Sra. Bollinger and Dr. Fadely are planning a 10-day trip to England during spring break 2011. The trip will depart Indianapolis on Thursday, March 24 and return on Saturday, April 2. The cost will be $3,585 per person with 20 participants, $4,125 with 15, and $4,740 with 10. The trip is open to students, parents, and alumni of University High School. The trip will include visits to Windsor Castle, Tower of London, Globe Theatre, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the British Museum in London; Canterbury; Bath; Stratford-upon-Avon; Oxford and Oxford University; and the Cotswolds.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Bill Thornburgh is planning a trip to the Galapagos Islands. This 9-day adventure will depart Indianapolis either Friday, March 25th in the late evening, or early Saturday, March 26th and return Sunday, April 3rd. The cost of the trip is $3,419 for students and $3,754 for adults. This trip, open to students and their families, provides an experience in one of the most bio-diverse places in the world. This is the location where Charles Darwin observed and collected a variety of species, which helped him develop his idea of natural selection.
