Giving at University High School

Support of University High School reflects your dedication to the school’s mission statement established by our founding board: to expand the hearts and minds of students and to nurture excellence through academic, creative and physical achievement.

Philanthropy is a legacy of University's culture that our students nurture, encourage and share with others when they graduate. Your philanthropic commitment shapes University High School's culture, values and community.

The hallmarks of a University High School education – rigorous college preparatory academics, small class sizes, demanding but caring faculty, personalized college counseling and opportunities for leadership – continue to engage students in learning and life. Excellence, however, has a price. Tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating each student. The difference between tuition and the actual cost of educating a University High School student remains at about $5,000. Like all independent schools, University does not receive support from local, state or federal governments. New buildings, additional sports facilities and expanded staff require additional funds. It is through the generosity of our closest friends and family, like you, that our community continues to thrive.

Unrestricted funding through the U Fund, University High School's annual fund, is the fundraising priority. The 2014-2015 U Fund campaign began July 1, 2014 and will conclude on June 30, 2015. Make a gift today
