Annual Fund

The annual fund is the single most important source of yearly fund-raising income to make up the difference between tuition and the actual cost of the education provided. Each year, University High School appeals to all of our parents, alumni families, grandparents and friends to make a gift to the annual fund.

The annual fund pays the school's daily expenses - salaries, financial aid, technology, science laboratory supplies, art materials, electricity, building maintenance, student activities and all the programs that contribute to an outstanding educational experience. Because the money is spent in the year it is raised, it must be replenished annually.

The goals of the annual fund are to reach 100% participation and to raise $650,000.  These goals are critical to our ability to maintain and improve the academic, arts and athletic programs that we offer our students.

Please consider making a gift to University High School. Giving to the annual fund bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a University High School education. A gift to the annual fund, no matter the size, is an integral part in helping us achieve our mission.

Capital Campaign

Gifts to the capital fund are restricted funds that help meet building and endowment needs.

Since opening in August 2000, University High School has benefited from the generous capital support of our founders, parents and community friends. The school derives much of its strength from individual and family philanthropy aimed at helping University to thrive and innovate. University High School would not be where it is today without this generosity.

Unrestricted capital giving secures a financial future for our mission. Under the direction of the Board of Trustees, capital gifts will be accepted and directed with regards to the current priorities of the school.  Such generosity will allow us to meet our most urgent needs including the ability to build the classroom building, develop athletic fields, and establish cash reserves.
