University High School Parent Association
The Parent Association plays a key role at University High School. The Parent Association serves as a key source of communication for all parents as well as developing funds to help various areas of student life. In the past, the Parent Association has provided funds for plays, social events, the yearbook, classroom supplies, and microphones.

The Parent Association Board has a set of objectives that drive our actions.

  1. Get Parents Involved – Increase parental involvement in Parent Association activities and expand the volunteer force.
  2. Communication – Communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
  3. Fund raising – Build involvement in scrip programs and look for other “non-event” fund-raising opportunities.
  4. Friend raising – Look for means to increase interaction between University and the local community.
  5. School support – Develop plan for use of funds to support and improve student life at the school.
The Parent Association Board will be focused on these objectives through our programs and activities each year. All parents and guardians of University High School students are members of the Parent Association as the dues are included with the tuition bill. Look through the calendar and volunteer opportunities and get involved.
