- Son, Cullen, a 2008 graduate of University High School, is a sophomore at Indiana University majoring in English.
- Daughter, Rachael Hopkins Trieu, is a graduate of The Roeper School & The University of Michigan, and lives with her husband, Hung Trieu, in Chicago. Rachael is a compensation analyst with Watson Wyatt Worldwide
- We enjoy going to the theatre, especially the Stratford Festival in Canada, sharing time with family and friends, and spending time in July in Leland, Michigan
