WHO: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, from novice through competitive.

WHAT: A 5K Run / Walk. The event is in its 9th year, and was founded in memory of Emily Gilroy, a young girl who passed away at the age of 11. Many of our runners participate in memory of a friend or loved one.

WHEN: October 1, 2011 at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: The course begins and ends at University High School, with a beautiful course that winds through Carmel’s West Park and Coxhall Gardens. 

WHY?: Proceeds benefit School on Wheels, an educational effort for homeless children in Indiana, and University High School, an independent college preparatory program.
