In our classrooms you’ll discuss, debate, analyze, experiment and reflect. We encourage you to ask questions, challenge assumptions and apply your learning to real world situations. We ask you to experience great works of literature, art and music, to listen and respect other views, to become a creative and critical thinker and to exchange ideas freely. You can’t hide in the back row at University.

We challenge you but we also help you succeed. The faculty has high expectations but also understands that students enter University High School with varying levels of ability to handle these expectations. Regardless of how you like to learn, you can count on supportive faculty who challenge you to do your best.

The teachers are easy to talk to. They don’t just interact with you like you’re just another student but know you on a personal level and treat you like an adult.

The teachers are amazing. They care about what they teach. If you need extra help, teachers are always willing to work with you.

This place is where you design your own challenge.

The teachers like to teach and are great at it. They engage me in the topic and make me think deeply about a response. They seem to care that I do well and that I do my personal best.
