Transportation Services

University High School students come from all parts of Central Indiana, and we recognize that for some parents, driving to and from UHS each day is a challenge. We are proud to offer morning and afternoon bus routes serving Midtown Indianapolis and the Fishers/Geist area, for an additional fee.

Routes are reviewed periodically to reflect where families need service most, and spots are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so families are encouraged to sign up early.

In addition, state law allows students to ride their local public-school bus toward University, provided the bus’s existing route and stops bring them sufficiently close to campus. This depends on each family’s home district and is not something UHS can guarantee or arrange. Please contact us to explore whether this is a fit for your family.

For more information about bus routes or to sign up for the bus, contact Stacey Summitt-Mann, assistant head of school, at ssummittmann@universityhighschool.org or at 317-733-4475, ext. 184.
