Join Us for a Shadow Visit

Spending a school day at University High School is, for many, the best part of the high school search. Through a shadow visit, prospective students spend a full day attending classes, meeting students, talking to teachers, and experiencing life as a Trailblazer.

New in 2020-21! Experience a UHS school day through video. This fall, several current students took over our Instagram stories and hosted #TrailABlazer days. Check out archives of these videos.

University High School will resume in-person and virtual shadow visits beginning Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. View the calendar below to see available dates.

In-Person Shadow Visits

For in-person shadow visits, we can accommodate a maximum of five guests per day in order to maintain proper distancing in our classrooms. Shadow visit guests must wear a face mask while on campus and take our health screening questionnaire upon arrival. An individually packaged lunch will be provided (if desired).

Virtual Shadow Visits

In a virtual shadow visit, students will receive a personalized schedule with links to classes and sessions that they will attend on their selected day. While the majority of the day will be spent in classes, we will also arrange for virtual guests to view morning meeting, have lunch with a student host, and meet with a University teacher during their visit — all over Zoom.
