Giving at university

PHILANTHROPY IS A LEGACY OF UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL’S CULTURE that our students nurture, encourage, and share with others when they graduate.

The hallmarks of a University High School education – rigorous college preparatory academics, small class sizes, demanding but caring faculty, personalized college counseling, and opportunities for leadership – continue to engage students in learning and life. Excellence, however, has a price.

generosity fuels our mission

Tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating each student. The difference between tuition and the actual cost of educating a University High School student remains at about $5,000. It is through the generosity of our closest friends and family that our community continues to thrive.

Support of University High School reflects a dedication to our mission statement: to expand the hearTs and minds of students and to nurture excellence through academic, creative, and physical achievement.

We support University High School because they are in the business of empowering students to be lifelong learners. University is especially good at seeing students for the individuals they are, each with unique gifts. Collaboration between students and between students and staff is encouraged. We feel fortunate that our daughter has had the opportunity to be a part of the University High School community.
