No one does January quite like University High School.

For the first three weeks of the year, UHS students take a break from their usual classes and dive into a single course through our January Term program. This year, students chose from 16 one-of-a-kind January Term courses, ranging from Robotics to Modern France to Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: The Science of Cooking.

Considering University High School for your student? Get an inside look at this unique three-week program at our special January Term Dinner for prospective families.

The J-Term Dinner is Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6-8 p.m. All family members are welcome to attend. Please register by Tuesday, Jan. 30 to reserve your spot. Here’s what you can expect at the dinner:

  • Delicious dinner alongside current UHS teachers and students
  • Remarks on how our JTerm program is an example of innovative education
  • Q&A session with UHS alumni about the value of their JTerm experiences
