What do you like about working at University High School?

The community at University High School makes it a special and wonderful place to be. Everyone’s learning (academic and social) is sincerely valued and supported. As a teacher, I love my job because I enjoy helping students learn and watching them grow. I also feel lucky when I’m learning from them and other teachers.

Personal Information

My husband and I met in graduate school, and the last work I did as a scientist was a collaboration with him that became one of my last publications. We have two kids, Christopher and Allie (University High School Class of 2022). I enjoy hiking and backpacking (usually with family), bicycling, woodworking when there’s time, reading, and somewhat nerdy television and movies.
