What do you like about working at University High School?
I like working at University High School because of the creative culture that inspires me to continue my own craft and education, in turn making me a more well-rounded and relevant teacher to the students and their craft I get to nurture. I feel lucky to get to work with such smart and wonderfully creative kids.
In my adult life, I have lived in Los Angeles for three years, Vancouver, BC, Canada, for two years, and New York City for five years, and almost a year in Colorado, working as an actor, stand-up, and production assistant for both theatre and film. I have been in several “B-horror” films and have directed four films. I live in Broad Ripple with my husband, Dustin Hartz, our daughter, Pearl, and our fish, Quesadilla. Outside of the theatre world, I love crime police academy movies, Matlock, and Elvis Presley.
