MEET Rachon Lucio, Communications coordinator
Rachon Lucio will join the communications team as the Communications Coordinator this fall. He will replace current Communications Coordinator Nila Nealy, who will move into the Director of Communications role on July 1.
Rachon comes to University High School from Raybourn Group International, where he currently serves as Communication Coordinator. In this role, he is responsible for many aspects of communication for his various clients, including media relations, social media management, and digital marketing. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from IUPUI and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Butler University in strategic communications.
Outside of his communications work, Rachon is a proud superfan of the DC Comics universe and admits that he would furnish his Indianapolis home in DC Comics if his boyfriend would let him. Rachon has two fur babies — cats named Nova and Nebula Lucio — and a collection of over 100 bottles of nail polish!
“What I am most excited about is learning and telling the stories that the students, staff, and all of University High School have to offer,” said Rachon.
