Alicia LaMagdeleine, Head of School

Ms. LaMagdeleine is the Head of School at University High School. She joined our faculty in 2004, and she served as English instructor, Director of Diversity, and Assistant Head of School before being named University High School’s second Head of School in 2020.

What do you like about working at University High School?

I get to do the things that I love with students and colleagues who care about learning and each other. Every day. What could be better than that?

I live in Carmel with my daughter (who is a student at University High School) and two very large cats. I love hiking and the outdoors, and I spend my time away from school reading a lot, writing a little, and being the best mediocre trumpet player in Central Indiana.
