WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL?
I really appreciate the mentoring aspect of the school. The in-depth relationships, grown over time, make a huge difference in a student’s willingness to engage with their learning. I also like the camaraderie and the willingness to embrace new ideas and strategies that will benefit students.
I have three children and three grandchildren, and they are all amazing humans. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and moved here when my husband accepted a job with Eli Lilly in 1996. I lived just outside London for almost three years in the early 2000’s and found British history fascinating! I love to hike (which is a bit difficult in flat Indiana), practice yoga, and solve puzzles: jigsaw, logic, number, crossword – I just LOVE puzzles. I also started college as a music major with a vocal emphasis but, instead of completing that degree, I have spent much time involved in church choir.
