What do you like about working at University High School?
I really admire the relationships at University. The students and faculty have mutual respect. The collegiality of the environment is evident as soon as you walk through the door. There are very few places that put such a high value on treating students as individuals. It is especially exciting for me, because music and art creation happen best when there is a strong sense of community among ensemble members.
Personal Information
I am married to my beautiful wife, Kristin. We have a son named Silas, a daughter named Lilah, a cat named Oliver, and a dog named Dash. In my free time, I enjoy performing in chamber music ensembles and learning about new technology. I also love the outdoors and I enjoy moderate cycling. I just wish there was more time for those activities.
