What do you like about working at University High School?

The learning environment at University High School is truly exceptional. I love that I get to know all of my students on an individual basis. This fosters an environment where an honest exchange of ideas is possible; they know I care about them, and in turn, I am more in tune with what they value. Teaching then becomes a collaborative effort. I teach them how to learn and to understand; they are then able to take their education and apply it to their interests and the current world. Every day is different, and I love how much I learn from my students in return.

Personal Information

I am happily married to my husband, and we currently live in Indianapolis with our pet hedgehog, Tindley K, and our dog, Rolf! I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, and hiking in the outdoors. I am also an avid gardener, book worm, animal lover, and basketball fan.
