High school and the looming thought of college can be hard. From mentoring to community meetings to our wellness programming, University has multiple ways to help students manage stress and promote positive mental health. Still, even with these supports, the pressure to perform in high school can be overwhelming at times.
University has partnered with the college counseling departments at Brebeuf, the International School, Guerin, and Park Tudor to host a webinar on Thursday, Sept. 5 at noon tailored to our schools with Jennifer Wallace, author of Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic–and What We Can Do About. Even if you can’t make it at noon, register to receive the recording.
University parents, faculty, and staff will then gather the following week on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at University for coffee and conversation to discuss how parents can partner with University to ensure student health and success. You need not have watched the webinar or read the book to participate in this discussion.
