This fall season was one of our busiest yet, with seven sports and eleven teams competing across varsity, JV, and C levels! From new athletes to seasoned competitors, every player made an impact, and we’re proud of the incredible dedication and teamwork shown across the board. Shoutout to Athletic Director Wes Priest and Assistant Athletic Director Cullen Webster for attending 100% of home matches and 70% of all competitions—true Trailblazer spirit!

Here’s a quick look back at some highlights:
• Girls Volleyball reached the sectional finals before a hard-fought game against Covenant Christian. With 29 athletes, the program was supported by alum Jillian Monroe, who returned to assist with coaching.
• Girls Golf led by a phenomenal group, including the head pro at Woodwind Golf Club and coach Taylor Newell, saw Senior Grace Cates claim an impressive PAAC Championship win with a score of 36!
• Cross Country advanced six runners (four boys and two girls) to Regionals and hosted several tournaments. Every finish—from the first to the last—was celebrated by the whole team.
• Girls Soccer wrapped up their season in a competitive sectional game against Covenant Christian. This team of 15 earned two All-Conference First Team honors, including a standout season for Sam Purdie.
• Boys Soccer made it to the sectional final against Covenant, showcasing perseverance and teamwork with their 30-player roster.
• Boys Tennis ended with a stellar 14-2 record, led by Kothe Birge, and is already gearing up for even tougher competition next season.

Let’s celebrate these achievements together! Join us for Fall Sports Awards Night on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 6:00 p.m. in Andrews Hall. We’ll kick things off with a general awards ceremony featuring major honors like the Trailblazer Awards, followed by individual team meetings for additional awards and recognitions.

We’re excited to honor all the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our fall sports athletes.
