Please join the University High School community for this very special keynote presentation as compelling storyteller, John Noltner, draws on his journey of collecting portraits and personal stories to reveal extraordinary insights into how we can work toward common good and create a world that is more just for all.

In 2009, Noltner began “A Peace of My Mind” as his effort to rediscover humanity in an increasingly polarized world. His multimedia arts project is built around the simple question, “What does peace mean to you?”

“A Peace of My Mind” serves as a powerful catalyst for community conversations about service to others, civic responsibility, and social change. The stories have been shared at, in two award-winning books, and in traveling exhibits that are installed across the country.

Noltner’s project, a gallery of portraits and personal stories, accompanied by instructions for a self-guided exploration, will be on display in University High School’s Fairbanks Hall from Saturday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Oct. 30.
