University High School supports the attendance of students from diverse economic backgrounds. Approximately 35% of University High School students receive some form of need-based financial aid, which makes it possible for them to attend our school. This financial aid money comes from several sources. For the 2024-25 school year, one source of financial aid money is now the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program. This program allows private schools to receive state funding to partially support tuition for families that meet certain income requirements.

We have contacted those families whose financial aid paperwork indicates that we may use a Choice Scholarship for part of their financial aid. However, some families that did not apply for need-based aid may still qualify for a Choice Scholarship. This table shows the maximum family-adjusted gross income (AGI), as reported on 2023 federal income taxes, to qualify for a Choice Scholarship. Only AGI and number of dependents determine eligibility. Other financial criteria do not apply to eligibility. If you believe you qualify for a Choice Scholarship or want more information, you must contact Dave Vesper by Monday, Aug. 26.
