
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953 to recognize achievement in the study of Spanish and Portuguese at the secondary school level. University High School’s chapter, Los Pioneros (The Trailblazers), was founded in 2019.
Students inducted this spring have completed at least Spanish IV and have maintained top grades in their Spanish coursework.
