University High School’s first music concert of the year is coming up on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in Andrews Hall. This will be a chamber music concert, meaning that small groups of musicians will be showcased. Students got a preview of two pieces at morning meeting today — a woodwind trio featuring Anjali Papadopoulos, Alex Johnson, and James Zhang and a string quartet featuring Natalie Murdock, Louie Berwanger, Cameron Nealy, and Jacob Benson.
The concert is free and will feature performances from the school’s wind ensemble, string ensemble, choir, and faculty. Pieces by Mozart, Haydn, Bach, Bernstein, and others will be performed.
