On Thursday, May 1, University High School celebrated National Candidate Reply Day with the annual Senior College Lunch. Members of the Class of 2025 gathered in the Fairbanks lobby for a festive afternoon featuring pizza, cupcakes, and college gear representing their next chapter.

As part of the tradition, seniors participated in the Strive for $25 for Five raffle, sponsored by the UHS Parent Association. This initiative encourages graduating students to pledge $25 in each of their first five years as alumni, fostering a culture of giving back. Participating seniors were entered into a drawing for dorm-friendly prizes like mini-fridges, gift cards, and college essentials.

Faculty and staff joined in the celebration by wearing sweatshirts and spirit wear from their own alma maters, showing support for the Class of 2025.

It was a great moment of community—one that captured the spirit of the Class of 2025 as they prepare for what’s next. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make in the years ahead!
