Upcoming Community-Wide Engagement on Healthy Relationships and Dating Violence

As part of our commitment to community wellness, this January, we are hosting a series of important events to address the critical topics of teen dating violence and healthy relationships, facilitated by Kelly Growden, Prevention Coordinator with Prevail. These sessions aim to educate and empower our school community—faculty, parents, and students alike—with tools and knowledge to foster respectful and safe relationships.

  • Parent/Caregiver Workshop: January 16: 7-8 p.m. via Zoom
Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to learn about the signs of unhealthy relationships and gain tools to engage in meaningful conversations with their children about healthy relationships and boundaries. [Zoom link]
  • School-Wide Assembly: January 31
The month will culminate in a school-wide assembly focusing on healthy relationships and boundaries, setting the stage for February, recognized as “Teen Dating Violence Prevention Month.” This assembly will encourage students to reflect on the importance of respect, communication, and boundaries in their relationships.

Thank you in advance for your participation as we work together to support the well-being and safety of our community.
