Course registration for the 2025-26 school year is officially open as of Friday, April 11, and we’re here to help you through every step of the process.

Students, parents, and mentors should begin by reviewing the course guide and other helpful resources, all available through the portal. Students will find these materials under “Student Resources” in the student portal, and parents can access them through the “Parent Resources” tab in the parent portal. There you’ll find the full 2025-26 Course Guide, a list of course offerings by subject, a video showing how to register, and information about opportunities like Independent Study and the Research Scholars Program.

Once students have reviewed the offerings and collaborated with their mentors and families, they’ll submit their course requests through Veracross. Course registration will remain open through Monday, April 28. Mentors will review and approve requests by Thursday, May 1, and parents will confirm final course selections through Veracross by Friday, May 9.

A few things to keep in mind as you build your schedule: be sure to check prerequisites for AP and advanced classes, list viable alternative electives that you would be willing to take should there be a conflict, and consider whether you’ll need a study hall. Remember, students must complete 1 semester of Health, 2 semesters of PE (including Advanced PE or a school sport), and 4 semesters of Art to meet graduation requirements.

Looking ahead to summer? Parents can register students for for-credit summer classes now through the Summer Classes website.
