University High School is excited to welcome a new staff member in the advancement office. David Schlenk will join us as a full-time Advancement Associate beginning on Monday, Sept. 21.
Meet David Schlenk, Advancement Associate
David Schlenk will be an advancement associate at University High School starting Monday, Sept. 21. He comes to University most recently from Music for All, where he was an annual fund manager, but he also has experience working in independent schools as a development coordinator with St. Richard’s Episcopal School. He has a bachelor’s degree in arts administration and music from Butler University.
An Indianapolis native, Schlenk enjoys hiking, golfing, cooking, and fishing with his wife and two children. He has a passion for music, and he has been playing drums and percussion instruments since he was 8-years-old. Even now, he still plays a few gigs for schools and church choirs each year.
“I am most excited to start work at University High School because I am ready to contribute to a positive, nurturing community from day one and to make a tangible difference in our school and our students,” he said.
