University High School’s Coordinator of Teaching and Learning and chemistry teacher, Erica Posthuma, has been named the new editor of ChemEd X, an interactive platform dedicated to supporting chemistry educators.
ChemEd X provides a collaborative space where teachers can share resources, refine research-based teaching practices, and access classroom-ready content, including hands-on activities and engaging instructional videos. The platform plays a key role in helping educators connect and enhance their teaching strategies.
The previous editor expressed full confidence in Erica’s leadership, sharing:

She is one of the first high school teachers that I invited to join our team, so she has a long-standing relationship with the community.
