From time to time, middle school parents wonder: “What can you really learn from attending a high school Open House?” While it is true that visiting a school while classes are in action is helpful, attending an Open House allows you to:
- Talk with faculty and learn why they have chosen to teach high school students.
- Tour the entire campus, checking out the science labs, the art rooms, the outdoor classroom, and the athletic facilities.
- Chat with current students and parents and learn why they chose this particular high school.
- Spend as much time as you want where you want. You can visit just the science department and learn in-depth about the four-year science curriculum, or you can visit every academic area and spend time talking to current students. YOU choose what interests YOU.
