According to Marion County Commission on Youth, the award recognizes high school and college students who spend their summer working as junior camp counselors or summer staff members at the youth programs funded by the Summer Youth Program Fund (SYPF). These counselors and staff members ensure that thousands of Central Indiana children have safe places to go each day during the summer.
Rozembajgier was one of 26 recipients of this award, which comes with a $1,000 educational stipend and portfolio, for her work this summer at Indianapolis’s Theater at the Fort.
Congratulations, Mary!
