Congratulations to sophomore Lauren Masoncup for being named a new member of Carmel Green Teen’s board of directors. Masoncup will serve for two years and joins UHS junior Natalie Crawford on the board.
Masoncup said, “I am very excited to be on the Carmel Green Teen board! I look forward to helping improve the environment and educating the community on how to be green. In University High School’s chapter of the Ecoblazers, I am a very active member.”
The Carmel Green Teen Micro-Grant Program has funded several UHS projects over the last three years, including trees planted on our grounds, an outdoor garden, and a water saving/rain harvesting system. We are excited to have two UHS students on the board of this great organization!
