Meet Jill Woerner, Spanish Teacher

Ms. Woerner is active in several professional organizations and serves on the Boards of Directors for the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and the Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Additionally, she was a national finalist for the ACTFL’s World Language Teacher of the Year award in 2012. She is a lover of travel, and she aspires to visit all of the Spanish-speaking countries in the world; she’s made it to eight so far. She has swum with dolphins in Curacao and ridden a camel in Cairo, and she hopes to ride an elephant during her trip to Bali next month.
“I am most looking forward to returning to the classroom to work with students and help them explore the Spanish language and culture that I love so much,” said Ms. Woerner.
