We are proud to celebrate our Director of Advancement, Adrianne Glidewell Smith, whose expertise in educational philanthropy has been recognized on a national stage. Adrianne was invited to author the Giving to Education chapter in Giving USA 2025: The Annual Report on Philanthropy for the Year 2024, published by the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
For more than 60 years, Giving USA has been the most trusted and comprehensive report on charitable giving in the United States, relied upon by fundraisers, nonprofit leaders, donors, volunteers, and scholars alike. To be asked to contribute to this publication is a significant professional honor and one that highlights Adrianne’s long-standing dedication to advancing education through philanthropy.
Reflecting on this recognition, Adrianne shared, “As someone who has devoted their life to fundraising for education, to be invited to author a chapter in this volume is deeply meaningful. Giving to education is not only about funding students and schools, it is about unlocking and fueling opportunity, sparking hope, and shaping a brighter future for us all.”
