Now in its 15th year, Grandparents’ Day is a beloved University tradition, offering students the chance to share their school experience with some of their biggest supporters. Few high schools host a day like this, and we are proud to welcome grandparents and special guests into our community each spring.
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed breakfast with opening remarks from Head of School Alicia LaMagdeleine and a student Q&A panel, followed by an assembly showcasing student presentations from our Academic Team, U Post, Writing Club, Comedy Sportz, a performance from Modern Band, and a preview of the spring musical, Bring It On.
Grandparents also attended their students’ third and fourth period classes, had the opportunity to participate in chair yoga, and captured the day with professional photos before heading to lunch.
Special thanks to Director of Advancement Adrianne Glidewell-Smith for her leadership in planning and coordinating another memorable Grandparents’ Day!
