The 4th Annual Bring Change to Mind Indiana Summit, Minds in Balance: Prioritizing Brain Health and Connections, took place on November 10, gathering students from across the state, including several from University High School. This in-person event allowed students to meet, share ideas, and discuss their mental health initiatives, as well as ways to foster positive change in their schools. With workshops, a self-care activity fair, and a keynote speaker, the day was designed to inspire students and equip them to drive community-wide impact.

A professional videographer was on-site to capture the day’s highlights and interview selected students and advisors for an updated Indiana Regional BC2M Highlight video. Among those chosen was UHS student Lauren Langer, who participated as both a student and volunteer. Lauren also contributed to the day’s focus on wellness by bringing her therapy dog, April, for the dog therapy activity. Kudos to Lauren and all UHS students for their ongoing dedication to promoting mental health!
