University High School has been named to College Board’s 2023 Platinum AP School Honor Roll.
College Board, which administers the Advanced Placement Program (AP), recognizes schools based on their ability to increase their school’s college-going culture, provide opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximize their students’ college-readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Seventy-six of 85 University High School’s Class of 2023 members took at least one AP exam during their high school career; 26 members took at least five AP exams. 67% of the Class of 2023 scored a three or higher on at least one AP exam.
In addition to AP School Honor Roll Platinum status, University earned the AP Access Award, which recognizes the school as providing all students the opportunity to participate in AP, including students of underrepresented populations.
